Today’s first image was taken in Mahone Bay along the South Shore with a late afternoon sun casting shadows over the downtown area. Most of the changing leaves were still on the trees giving a golden glow near the famous three churches. I tried a slightly different angle for the composition this time which made the sun’s angle a little difficult to work with. For the second image I travelled for an early morning sunrise with a couple of friends to Rainbow Haven Beach just outside Dartmouth. It was a very frosty morning just before the time change which gave us a sensible sunrise at 7:50am. The sky was very brightly coloured on this morning as the sun was rising over the Atlantic. Both of these images have been added to the “Scenic 2” gallery. For the last shot I travelled to Peggy’s Cove for sunset photos. What looked to be great potential for a nice sunset turned a litlle gloomy at the last moment. However; unusual cloud formations formed with the approach of a storm so I am adding one of these images to the “Peggy’s Cove 2” gallery.
