I’ve been planning for some time now to photograph a sunrise along the South Shore in Mahone Bay. Yesterday, I left Lower Sackville just before 6:00am to give myself plenty of time to get set up along the town’s waterfront. Sunrise occurred at 7:50am. This time of year you take your chances with respect to the weather. I’ve been watching the weather reports for some time and it worked out. It was a clear, comfortable morning with dark clouds in the background and smooth water in the foreground for a nice reflection. Because of these features I have placed this image in the “Reflections” gallery.
