Thursday night I travelled to Peggy’s Cove which is about forty-five minutes from my home. This image was an experiment not involving the lighthouse. For a couple of years I have wanted to take a photo looking out through the fishing village toward the west during a sunset. For various reasons I have previously gone up to the area around the lighthouse instead. This time I decided to finally get my sunset shot looking out the harbour. The experiment that night involved bracketing nine photos and and blending them into a High Dynamic Range(HDR) image. The aperture setting for each photo was the same while the shutter speed differed each time. The finished image has been added to the HDR gallery.
